Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole sweet potato peeled and cut into thin 1/4" slices
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbs oil olive, canola or avocado oil

Instructions
 

  • Mix salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
  • Place sweet potato slices in a shallow dish and sprinkle seasonings over top. Toss well, covering potatoes in seasoning.
  • Add oil and toss well.
  • Preheat fryer at 400, once it's hot, cook whole batch for 10 minutes, checking every minute after that (mine took 12 minutes*).
