Make-Ahead Tips
Want to prep these wraps for busy days? Cook your bacon and chicken ahead of time and store them in the fridge. The mayo mixture can be made up to 2 days in advance too! Just wait to cut the avocado until you’re ready to assemble – this keeps everything fresh and prevents browning.
Easy Substitutions
No worries if you need to switch things up! Try Greek yogurt instead of mayo for a tangier, lighter wrap. Spinach works great in place of romaine, and turkey bacon makes a lighter option. Got rotisserie chicken? That works perfectly here! For a low-carb version, use large lettuce leaves instead of tortillas.
Serving Ideas
These wraps are perfect for lunch boxes or picnics! Cut them into pinwheels for a fun party appetizer. Add some crunch with pickle spears or chips on the side. Want to make it a fuller meal? A light soup or fresh fruit salad pairs wonderfully with these wraps.
Storage Tips
If you’re making these ahead, keep the filling separate from the tortillas and store it in an airtight container. Add the avocado just before serving to keep it fresh. Already assembled wraps stay good in the fridge for about 4 hours – just wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or foil. The dressing keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
